Social Worker – Peterborough

We are currently recruiting an experienced qualified Social Worker to support within Children in Care on a three-month contract with a likely extension. This offers an hourly rate of up to £38 per hour if working via an Umbrella Company (inside IR35), or we can offer PAYE payroll if preferred. Hybrid working is available working three days a week in the office and two remotely.

For this opportunity you will need proven experience as a Social Worker working with children, young people and families with a solid understanding of legal and policy.As you would expect, fantastic communication skills (verbal and written) will be key to your success along with the ability to work independently and manage challenging situations.

This position will start quickly, subject to pre-employment checks, and the office is based in central Peterborough. The standard working week is 37 hours and you will need to be flexible to travel to other locations as required.
