Job Description

Skills & Capability Development Manager

Location: Pangbourne (Hybrid)
Rate: Up to £330 per day (Inside IR35)
Contract: 12 months
Start: ASAP

The Role

We are looking for a Skills & Capability Development Manager to lead the development and delivery of skills and capability initiatives that support workforce readiness and business performance. Working with senior stakeholders, you’ll identify capability gaps, shape learning strategies, and use data-driven insights to build the skills needed for future success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver global skills and capability strategies.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify capability needs and workforce skill gaps.
  • Design and implement learning and capability programmes aligned to business priorities.
  • Measure learning effectiveness and use insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead the optimisation of learning technologies and digital learning solutions.
  • Leverage data, analytics and market insights to improve learning outcomes and business performance.Provide strategic advice on workforce planning, skills development and organisational capability.

Requirements

  • Experience in Learning & Development, Skills Management, Workforce Planning or HR.
  • Experience designing and delivering large-scale learning and capability programmes.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience working with senior leaders.
  • Knowledge of learning technologies, workforce capability and data-driven decision making.
