Briefing & Support
At Love & Tate we prefer to tick before we talk.
In 1949 a flock of starlings landed on the minute hand of Big Ben and set the time back by four and a half minutes. The chances of this happening on the day that you’re running late for an interview are, we suspect, not great.
At Love & Tate we prefer to tick before we talk! That’s why we meet – or these days Zoom, maybe – with you before you go along to meet a prospective employer. That allows plenty of time for briefing and research to identify the right opportunities. With all the right boxes ticked you’ll arrive at your interviews – virtual or face-to-face – knowing what you’re getting into. And hopefully on time!
We’ll brief you fully on each job, and give you a run-down of the company’s business structure, culture and goals. For temporary assignments we’ll also make sure you know any material practical matters like dress codes, start dates, office hours and particular objectives.
You can expect a call from us after the interview unless you get to us first. Then we liaise with the prospective employer to find out how you got on and to sort out the next step. And we’ll be in touch continually with you and prospective employers until the final negotiations on your new job are complete.
But it doesn’t stop there. We are interested in how you get on when you start your new job. So we’ll pick up with you on your first day and then periodically talk to you and your company throughout your temp assignment or during the first few months of employment. That way, if you have any issues or queries we can help get them resolved or answered.
