Logistics Advisor
Location – Sunbury / Hybrid
Salary – £400 per day Inside IR35 Umbrella
Temporary – ASAP start to December 2027

We are looking for an experienced Inbound Logistics Advisor to support the optimisation and continuous improvement of international inbound logistics and physical supply chain activities.

Working with suppliers, business stakeholders, logistics service providers and customs agents, you will help develop and implement delivery strategies that improve service, performance and supply chain efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and improving inbound logistics delivery and service performance.
• Working closely with suppliers, logistics providers and customs agents.
• Supporting international logistics and customs activities across Mauritania and Senegal.
• Managing contractor and customs agent performance.
• Identifying logistics safety risks and supporting appropriate mitigation.
• Building effective relationships across internal teams, suppliers and local authorities.
• Using systems including SAP to support logistics activities.
• Travelling to Senegal as required.

About you:

• 5+ years’ experience in international logistics.
• Strong knowledge of customs processes in Mauritania and Senegal.
• Experience managing service delivery and contractor/customs agent performance.
• Strong collaboration, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
• Good understanding of logistics safety and risk management.
• Working knowledge of SAP and relevant logistics systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or a related technical field.
• Willing and able to travel to Senegal when required.
