Job Description
Job Title: Senior Project Manager – Trading / Optimisation
Location: Canary Wharf, 3 days per week on site
Pay Rate: PAYE £790 per day / Umbrella (Inside IR35) £940 per day
Length: 8 months, temporary
Start Date: ASAP
We are working with a global organisation who is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to deliver high-profile optimisation project. This role will focus on the development and integration of in-house solutions, working within a trading optimisation environment.
The Senior Project Manager will be accountable for the successful delivery of multiple workstreams to time, budget and quality, while managing stakeholders and governance processes. You will play a key role in embedding new optimisation products into existing operational practices.
Responsibilities
- Deliver project and product workstreams to scope, time, and budget.
- Lead key initiatives, including:
- Enhancements to in-house crude optimisation engines
- Delivery of a new non-linear blending optimisation solution
- Embedding new and current products into existing capabilities and technical practices
- Perform Scrum Master responsibilities and support requirement gathering with Business Analysts.
- Manage budgets, governance, reporting, risks, and issues management.
- Facilitate design workshops, governance and stakeholder engagement sessions.
- Oversee quality processes and plans to ensure engineering consistency and repeatability.
What we are looking for
- Strong background as a Senior Project Manager within trading or optimisation environments.
- In-depth understanding of refined products trading and optimisation principles.
- Demonstrable experience in delivering technical solutions into operational practices.
- Proficiency with Agile methodologies and Scrum Master responsibilities.
